On September 23rd, the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games opened. The Hangzhou Asian Games adheres to the concept of "green, intelligent, thrifty, and civilized" in organizing the event, striving to create the world's first large-scale "zero waste" sporting event.

This edition of the Asian Games is unprecedented in scale, with an expected participation of over 12,000 athletes from across Asia, 5,000 team officials, 4,700 technical officials, more than 12,000 global media reporters, and millions of spectators joining the Hangzhou Asian Games. The scale of the event is set to reach new heights.

As the catering service provider for the main media center, Hangzhou International Expo Center is dedicated to promoting a green and low-carbon lifestyle. Inside the restaurants, dining tables and decorations are made from paper-based materials, which can be recycled and reused after the event. The utensils provided to guests are all made of biodegradable materials, with cutlery made of PLA and plates and bowls made from rice husks. From the spatial layout to the tableware used, they have truly implemented and created a "zero waste" dining environment.
